Abstract submission information |
All
participants are invited to contribute to the Scientific Programme by
submitting their proposal
to the A.F.P
Secretariat. All accepted abstracts will be presented in the Abstract
Book,
which will be distributed at the Conference.
Abstracts
will be reviewed by a panel of experts and selected on the basis of
merit for oral or poster presentation. The time
allotted
for each oral presentation will depend on the session to which the
abstract is allocated.
Notification
of acceptance or rejection by the Scientific Committee will be mailed
to the corresponding author within
2 weeks.
In case you have not received an acceptance letter, please contact
the Conference Secretariat.
Authors
must follow the guidelines
for abstract submission set out below.
HOW
TO SUBMIT
Proposals
for papers, symposia, round tables, workshops and any kind of
scientific participation should be submitted by October
31, 2009
by e-mail to the Conference Secretariat.
The
abstract should not exceed 250
words
and should be written in 12
cpi Times New Roman.
The
abstract should have the following form:
- TITLE:
Make the title of the abstract brief, clearly indicating the nature
of the investigation. Use CAPITAL LETTERS for the title
- Authors'
names, with the name of the presenting author written first and
underlined. Type only the initial of the first name(s), which should
be followed by the family name(s).

Abstracts
will contain text
only
- graphs and pictures cannot be inserted and will not be printed.
Do not include references and footnotes in the abstract. Please
avoid boldfacing, italics and underlining within the text.
Letter
of Invitation:
The
Organizing Committee will be delighted to issue a formal letter of
invitation for participants, which is intended to facilitate raising
funds & obtaining entry visa; it
does not entail any financial commitment
from the Committee towards the delegates.

All
presenting authors are kindly requested to send us a copy
of their presentation (preferably the full text) at least until

31, 2009
for official
purposes.

Posters
will be on display in the Poster Area (Room 1) for the entire
duration of the Congress.
Dimensions
of the poster boards (including frames) are 100 cm in width and 180
cm in height. To ensure good legibility of your poster, we recommend
a maximum
size
of 90 cm in width and 120 cm in length. Pins and tape for fastening
the posters will be available in the Poster Area.
